Nettel is a holding company/incubator that
creates small companies with a unique technology
and supplies them with the necessary technical
support, management, and finances needed to
grow. Mainly in the fast growing VOIP
industry. The technical support comes from a
wholly owned subsidiary in Vietnam with more
then 50 engineers, called Entec Software. This
gives Nettel, and each subsidiary, a tremendous
competitive advantage because all development
costs are 1/10 the of what the same work would
cost in the US.

The main revenue producer now is
AVOP. (Advanced Voice Order
Processing) AVOP was developed out
of a need that Nettel had as well as
other telecom companies. AVOP
supplies many advantages to the
industry. Major carriers, such as
ATT, MCI, Sprint, Ibasis, and so on,
need to terminate calls in many
countries around the world. In order
to do so they have to have an
agreement with the local telephone
company that controls the gateway
into that country or province.
The industry is adopting AVOP at
a tremendous rate. In less then 2
years, during development and beta
testing (completed in October '06)
over 1,000 carriers have signed on.
Less then a dozen are active right
now.
Additional advantages for carriers
to use AVOP;
1) Single point of contact, saves
time and expense. No need to
negotiate contract for each
purchase.
2) Carriers can expand their global
coverage for their retail customers,
without building new networks. .
3) AVOP handles routing management,
settlements, billing and
administration, allowing members to
save on staff and administration
costs.
4) Monthly statement, showing
minutes originated and terminated,
in a single currency
5) Built in software that monitors
voice quality of calls in real time.
6) Any destination posted on AVOP
can be purchased immediately.
7) Members can view all account
information and network
information in real time.
8) Payment to seller is same day,
vs 7 -14 days.
In addition Nettel has partnered
with 1,600 major VOIP network
termination partners world wide to
access their network infrastructure
this gives Nettel access to provide
call terminations to over 250
countries and territories world
wide. These gateways are located
mostly in difficult to reach
countries or regions and provide
local termination of international
calls. Nettel offers this service
to any international carrier who
wants to terminate calls in any of
these countries. This opens the door
for additional relationships and
revenue.
Nettel has created a separate
division to handle payment for the
purchase of minutes by carriers,
called VOIP Payment Services. This
system is the first of it's kind,
and provides a safe secure platform
for buyers and sellers to conduct
business. The process only takes 30
minutes and is completely automatic
Buyers can deposit funds via credit
card, Pay Pal, direct deposit from
checking account, or wire transfer.
Funds on deposit can be used to buy
all minutes that are posted on AVOP.
Beta version has been used for the
past 5 weeks.
