This show is so good because it not only talks about the markets , which we all are enthralled with, but also about finding out about ourselves and how it relates not only to our trading, but maybe even more important about how we see ouselves in the world we live in and how from the knowledge we take from this show can make ourselves a better human being in our life here on earth--I'll say it one more time"MAN I LOVE THIS SHOW"-thanks guys

Emini Podcast / The Daily Futures 10/24/11

(QQQQ)(DIA)(SPY)(GLD)(SLV)

If the markets are a true barometer of global economic health as many profess, how do you explain away the current mess? The only good news we've had of late is the fall of a dictator yet the Dow is on track for the largest single one month point gain in history. Seriously? Bigger than any month in the days of the dot com bubble? Yep. It doesn't take a psychic or a scientist to see that something is horribly flawed with this picture. We all know bubbles don't last. At least I hope we all know that... right?

Tulips? Dot com? Housing? I skipped a few but you get the picture. Or do you? Maybe this time it's different. Maybe this is a new economy. No jobs, no incentive to create jobs, and the market only moves higher? Think QE3 is the answer? Doesn't matter what you think. It's coming. And when it does our credit rating gets whacked again. Oh wait, how quickly did we forget that?

Here's the good news. Irrational exuberance gives the rational man an opportunity to get out on the way up. Greek default is inevitable. We are coming into a Presidential election. Do you want to be long this market? Perhaps you do. The question is how long, for how long? If you're 25 it doesn't really matter. If you're 55 it matters a lot. If we can overcome the European implosion, if we can evade the collection calls from China, if we can get a businessman into the White House 14 months from now, can that save us? Are you willing to bet your retirement on it?

It's going to get better before it gets worse, but then it's going to get worse than it's ever been before. Take that to the bank. If you can find one...

On a lighter note we had a great show today that stretched from the White House lawn to the annals of time. Click the headphones above and join us. Better yet, tune in Live tomorrow.

At the end of today's show I said the following, "Tonight I'm going to show you the Zone to Zone action and you're going to moan about how you wish you had those numbers before the market opened."

The good news is  - You Can!

What's even better is you don't need a scapel.

This is closer to Birthday Pinata' than Micro-Surgery.
