Best Emini Trading System

(QQQ)(DIA)(SPY)(GLD)(TWTR)

The Best Emini Trading System For Every Market

The Best? That's a tall claim right? We trade the #S&P, #Russell, #Gold, #Copper, #Euro, #Yen, and much more.

If I'm going to say it, we have to be willing to back it up because we appear live each and every trading day, right here on CFRN from 12-2PM EST. Obviously I've thought it through before making such a grandiose claim... or have I?

Turns out, I have. Of course it will always come down to YOUR definition of BEST.

Soybeans - A Second Market For SP500 Traders

Emini Traders Turn To Soybeans In Lean Times

Many Traders focus on specific markets such as the S&P Emini Futures. I believe that being a specialist in one market is a desirable characteristic of a successful trader. However, no matter what your chosen market, from Crude to Live Cattle, there will  always be days when a lack of volatility, direction, momentum, or some other key trait that originally attracted you to the instrument, just isn't there.

A mature trader may be able to recognize something is not quite right early on, and will simply choose to sit out the session and wait for another day. Unfortunately, depending upon the market you've chosen to specialize in, these days can often come grouped together. A string of days can sometimes become a string of weeks. That spells trouble...

Quadruple Witching

My apology to the Witch left out in the cold...

Quadruple Witching

I'm a little bit happy no one called me out on this and also a little bit sad because I've been teaching it for 7 years. I can blame my own personal lapse on senility... what's your excuse?

The difference between Triple Witching and Quadruple Witching is small -

Single Stock Futures

Believe it or not, we have an audience so diverse that many of our Partners as well as many members of our listening audience do in fact trade Single Stock Futures (SSF). Do not confuse Stock Futures with Stock Options as the latter is far more common. In fact, the SSF market has been somewhat slow to build a following. Keep in mind the S&P 500 Emini Futures took a while to gain traction but the comparison is akin to comparing an Apple(AAPL) to 500 Pieces of Misc. Fruit. (Get it?)

If our failure to alert you to the expiration of an SSF caused you monetary loss, then you and I both know you really shouldn't be trading Single Stock Futures and/or you need a really smart and fully licensed broker. Kapeesh?

Soybeans, Triple Witching And Trading The Range

Soybeans have offered CFRN Traders the most generous opportunities this week as the S&P 500 has remained inside a 10 Point Range thus far marked both on the top and bottom by our Weekly Trading Zones. With Triple Witching on deck perhaps the broader markets will show us increased volatility.

Soybeans

As we wrote on Monday, Soybeans have offered some very dynamic opportunities of late. Our first Soybean Alert of the week went out Sunday night on the Globex session. The call which was to be short below 17.03 triggered Monday the 17th. By early Tuesday morning prices dropped 72 cents to 16.30.

Soybean Futures Offer Volatility To Emini Traders

Soybeans were locked Limit Down by 9AM Central during Monday's trading session.

Soybean Futures Offer Volatility During Quiet Emini Session

After a concerted effort by the ECB and the Fed to "print as much money as it takes" to rescue the global economy, many traders, economists and pundits appeared surprised by today's muted action. We did have a decent spike on Thursday's announcement and a slight follow through on Friday but by the close of the week we had given back all of Friday's gains and a good share of Thursday's as well.

It is not unusual to have a day of consolidation after a big move, but we are now entering our third session in a market that seems to have run out of steam. Many are beginning to question if liquidity was truly the heart of the problem. It is our belief that until banks are forced to actually put money into the hands or responsible credit worthy entrepreneurs and would be home buyers, any chance of a real recovery is but a distant dream of somebody's father.

We did offer a Soybean Trade during the Globex Session Sunday night and aside from one small scalp in the S&P that was it for today. David has shared with us over the years that Soybeans are a good secondary market to fall back on when volatility is lacking in other markets.

Here's the Tweet and the Trade -
