Corporate - We've covered a lot of ground in 2012. Partners are flourishing, our mission is more vivid than ever before and we just finished our best month yet in the Live Emini Training Room. Tip o' the hat to Michael for a job well done. As you already know, the business of trading can be a challenge on even the best of days. Michael's ability to remain focused on multiple markets while answering questions and training, is no small task. It's a rare day at the office when I don't receive at least one email, phone call, or live chat from a Partner expressing their gratitude for his diligence and hard work.

Burt and Leslie are not only the designated brokers for CFRN, they are the heart and soul of our operation. When you call the trading desk, you aren't routed to a call center in a 3rd world country, you speak to a Real Live Trader. These are Traders who also have a Brokers License. Brokers by profession, traders by definition. Their combined experience in the industry, well exceeds 30 years. As we turn the final page of 2012 and pull 2013 down off the shelf, I want you both to know how much Michael and I appreciate you and how critical you are to the success of every CFRN Partner. CFRN Partners - They say you become the average of the people you spend the most time with. I am honored and blessed because I spend the vast majority of my time with some of the brightest minds and purest hearts on planet earth. I'm not always sure how you find us, but I'm sure glad you do. You keep me sharp, on my toes, accountable, and you're a fine reason to rise up each day committed to achieving my personal best. As you drive me to reach higher and deeper, lives around the world are touched, changed and given hope. On behalf of myself and all of them - "Thank You!".
Vendors / Tech Reps / Service Personnel - From Chris who makes sure our 200+ Hour Video Training Library is well stocked and updated weekly, to the entire staff at CNC who take my server calls in the dead of night, all the way down to our little Mail Chimp and everyone in between, we could not do it without you either. When we have virtual conference calls, in my minds eye I never see us seated at a long conference table. It's a round table like the one King Arthur built. (In Arthurian legend, the circular table of King Arthur and his knights put everyone on equal footing seating. No head or foot, just a group of dedicated souls laboring together towards a common goal)
Hitchhikers - You guys are the most challenging and the most perplexing. You're beaten up. You've been burned, schemed, scammed, taken advantage of and you have a really hard time trusting anyone on the road to Wall Street. I can't say I blame you. It's ugly out there. It's also the reason Christian Traders and CFRN were originally created. We fought a long and bloody battle against naked short sellers in our equity days. We had members write books, testify before congress and film documentaries. We've hosted some of the greats from Max Lucado to Patrick Byrne to Aaron Russo: filmaker, activist and producer of America: Freedom to Fascism. We rubbed elbows with Mark Faulk, Darren Saunders, Bud Burrell and played a small role in Deep Capture. We exposed Urban Cassavant as a fraud much to the dismay of many CMKM shareholders. I would hate to say we eventually gave up, so I won't. We simply crawled out of the swamp and moved into the Futures. Pure electronic markets. No market makers, no pump and dump, no front running, no hype. As they say, "If you can't beat 'em, move."
Many of you Hitchhiker's lived through all that and more. I can see it in your eyes. I see it in your limp. I recognize the nervous twitch, mine is almost gone. So you made the move and stepped right into something just as smelly. It's true, Futures are fully electronic and everything else I said is 100% accurate, but there's still plenty of snake-oil on this side of the street. You can buy it by the gallon. Some of you unwittingly became distributors it looked so good. At this point a sane person would just get up and walk away, but you haven't. The reason you haven't, is because deep down inside you have a calling. You see the opportunity, you understand the possibility, and you're determined the thieves will never take another dime from you. I admire your gumption, but a closed fist cannot receive a gift. That's why we do business unlike anyone else in the industry.
We operate every single day under the bright lights of integrity and transparency. We have nothing to hide, nothing up our sleeve, we deal from the top of the deck and we keep both hands on the table. We want you to watch us trade live for 5 days. We want you to download the platform, install the indicators and actually use them to put on and take off trades in our state of the art simulator before you ever spend a dime. We aren't here to recommend an investment. We have no desire to handle or trade your money. We want to teach YOU how to trade. We want to impart a valuable life skill that will serve you well, all the days of your life. Once you "learn how to trade", no one can ever take that from you, not even the market. In fact, once you "learn to trade" the market is no longer the enemy, the market becomes your business partner.
We make no wild claims about pie in the sky, luxury yachts or rolling up in a Rolls. We're working class folks. I drive a 10 year old truck and Burt takes the train. Now if you're looking for somebody to sell you a bill of goods, then shame on you. If that's what you want, it's exactly what you'll get. You don't have to spend very long with us to learn that you may not always like what we tell you, but we will always tell you the truth. After trading live in front of a room full of people, we painstakingly recap every single setup of the day. The good ones, the bad ones, and the ones that got missed. We shy away from no question. We do our very best to maintain a cool head and a good attitude.
Why do we go to so much trouble? Because Michael and I were once hitchhikers too. All we wanted was to provide for our families and do good works. Sound familiar? There's nothing we didn't touch, taste, dabble in and/or waste our money on. We finally figured out the only solution was to "learn how to trade". It's been a 7 year journey and it's not been an easy one. The good news is, we made it. Our goal now is to share with you what we've been through, so you don't have to. If it works we teach it, if it doesn't, we left it behind.
Based on all the above, you're most welcome to hitch a ride with us. I promise you won't get mugged. However, if you're just looking for a place where they call out trades, that's not us. We do call out our trades, before - during - and after, but our goal is to "teach you how to trade", so when you're done, you no longer need a Guru. Isn't it time you took your destiny into your own hands? Maybe 2013 is the year it all turns around for you. We're willing to give you the next 5 days of our life. Not just our time, but our technology as well. At the end of a week if it's not for you, we will part great friends knowing our life has been enriched because no matter where you are on your journey, we're going to learn something from you while you here. Live Trading Room Video Recap

To everyone who turned out today to watch Michael sweat and cheer him on, Thank You! We had a great time and acheived our goal. Last month in front of a live audience, we booked $3,100 per contract trading just 2 hours per day. Coming into December we raised the bar to $4,000. In just 18 trading days we hit $4,300,00. I'm not boasting, I want you to understand that this is the result of a lot of hard work, focus and dedication. I want you to also understand, whatever is possible for us, is possible for you. We stumbled around in darkness for a very long time trying to figure this out. The good new is, we now have a flashlight so you don't have to.
What Are Your Goals For 2013?
Would you be content if you earned $4k per month? If you became consistent at that level would you increase the number of contracts you trade? If you increased the number one at a time, only using money you earned in the market, how many contract would you eventually want to trade?

Helping you become consistently profitable in the simulator and then as you step out into the live money market, finding that comfort zone where coming to work each day is no longer a chore but a pleasure.
